リーズナブルにCloset Mixを堪能したい方はオススメです。
こちらはUS盤と同じMGMのゴールド・ブルーラベルのUK盤になります。
マトリクス1/1でオリジナルインナースリーブも付属です。
こちらはLou Reed本人がMixを担当したCloset Mixバージョンになります。
クローゼットミックスは長らくUSオリジナル盤でしか聴けないと思われておりましたが、近年初期のUK盤にはCloset Mixが存在していることがわかりました。
数年前に公式で発売された45th AniversaryのCDで両者のミックスの違いを聴き比べることができます。特に明らかにイントロから異なるSome Kinda Loveでその違いを確かめられますが、こちらのUK盤は確かにCloset Mixでした。
個人的にはValentin Mixも好きですが、その名の通りクローゼットの中で聴いているようなCloset Mixはやはり聴きごたえがあり、ルーリードの意図がダイレクトに伝わってきます。
ジャケットは少しヨレてますが、ディスクの状態は良好です。
50年前のレコードとしては状態が良く、当方の環境では針飛びなく再生には問題ございませんでした。
USオリジナル盤はほとんど市場に出回らなくなっており、出たとしてもかなりの高額になっております。
こちらはよりくっきり聴こえますので、USオリジナル版を凌駕すると思います。
